Forum theater
Forum theater is an interactive form of theater in which personal experiences and social issues are dealt with creatively on stage. A problem is presented in a scene and the audience can actively intervene to try out new solutions. The aim is to express one’s own stories and conflicts, to change perspectives and to find new paths together. Everyone between the ages of 11 and 27 is welcome to get involved – we listen and see you as you are. Forum theater encourages creativity, self-development and dialogue with one another. In forum theater, we come together to work on personal experiences and social issues through creative scenes. We don’t play out ready-made scripts, but develop the scenes together – everyone contributes their own ideas and everyone can actively intervene, change the plot and try out new solutions. You will perform your own stories on stage in various exercises and play situations and have the opportunity to try out and reflect on alternative approaches. It’s about being creative, expressing yourself and finding new perspectives together.
