Annual Theme “Addiction Prevention and Health”

Our Annual Project within the Open Youth Meet-Up

With the partial legalization of cannabis starting April 1, 2024, in Germany, this year we aim to focus on substance use, addiction, and health within the Open Youth Meet-Up. We will invite experts for workshops, conduct our own activities, and visit external exhibitions. Together, we want to work on addiction prevention, engage in discussions, and reflect.

We create a non-judgmental space where we can talk about experiences, questions, or concerns. Conversations remain confidential and are not shared with outsiders. Additionally, through visits to various exhibitions or activities, you can refresh or expand your knowledge on substances, their effects, addiction factors, and health.

Project for Women with Migration and Refugee Background

Promotion of Sociocultural Exchange and Integration Processes for Women with Migration and Refugee Background

This project emerged from the Mother-Child Meet-Up offered by our organization. It became clear that empowerment and independence are crucial aspects of life for women with migration and refugee backgrounds, which they wish to address together. However, many women could not participate in the offerings or meetings due to a lack of childcare or weekday employment. Thus, this project was developed to address the needs of all women.

The offer includes mutual encounters, exchange, and independent activities. Women of all nationalities meet to discuss current topics, questions, concerns, or personal ideas. Especially women who have recently moved to Dresden can find orientation and support through this project.
