Our Annual Project within the Open Youth Meet-Up

In 2025, the TBBS open meeting of the ZMO-Jugend e.V. will focus intensively on the topic of “career guidance”. Last year, together with the young people, we established that there is a great need for information and guidance in this area. Many are unsure about how they should shape their professional future, and there are questions about the different paths one can take in professional life.

In order to meet this need, we would like to increasingly participate in events such as the youth job center or open days in the coming year to provide young people with practical information. We will not only be on hand as a point of contact, but will also translate and explain information where necessary in order to make the content understandable for everyone. Together, we will attend workshops, counseling sessions and events that provide insights into various professional fields and training opportunities. Our aim is to offer young people clear guidance and support them in taking the next steps in their career choices with confidence and information.

Project for Women with Migration and Refugee Background

Promotion of Sociocultural Exchange and Integration Processes for Women with Migration and Refugee Background

This project emerged from the Mother-Child Meet-Up offered by our organization. It became clear that empowerment and independence are crucial aspects of life for women with migration and refugee backgrounds, which they wish to address together. However, many women could not participate in the offerings or meetings due to a lack of childcare or weekday employment. Thus, this project was developed to address the needs of all women.

The offer includes mutual encounters, exchange, and independent activities. Women of all nationalities meet to discuss current topics, questions, concerns, or personal ideas. Especially women who have recently moved to Dresden can find orientation and support through this project.
